Number Ninja Privacy Policy
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Number Ninja ("the App") handles information when you use the App on Android and iOS. It is intended to satisfy mobile store policy expectations, including Google Play and Apple App Store privacy requirements.
Number Ninja is an educational game. We do not require account creation and we do not sell personal information.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
- We do not ask players to create an account in the App.
- On first launch we ask for birth year only to determine age-group privacy behavior.
- We do not request name, email, phone number, or precise location in normal gameplay.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and app diagnostics (for stability, performance, and crash reporting).
- Gameplay and usage events (for analytics and product improvement).
- Advertising identifiers and ad interaction data (for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention).
- Purchase transaction metadata required to validate "remove ads" purchases.
3. Local Data Storage
Number Ninja stores gameplay progress and settings locally on-device, including saved progression, stars/scores, preferences,
ad-removal status, and the selected birth year for age-gate behavior. In the project this is represented by local save data
(for example, user://save_data.json).
Local data remains on the device unless removed by uninstalling the App or clearing app data in device settings.
4. Third-Party Services and SDKs
The App uses third-party services that may collect or process data under their own privacy terms:
- Google AdMob - ads, ad measurement, fraud prevention.
- Google Play Billing - purchase processing and entitlement verification.
- Firebase Analytics - aggregated usage analytics.
- Firebase Crashlytics - crash and diagnostics reporting.

5. How We Use Information
- Operate and improve gameplay features and balancing.
- Measure app quality, monitor crashes, and troubleshoot issues.
- Serve ads and evaluate ad performance where applicable.
- Process and restore in-app purchases (for ad removal).
- Maintain app security and prevent abuse/fraud.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Data may be shared with service providers only as needed to deliver app functionality (ads, analytics, crash diagnostics, and billing), subject to their terms and applicable law.
7. Data Retention
- Local game data is retained on-device until removed by the user.
- Third-party providers retain analytics/crash/ads/billing data according to their own retention policies.
8. Children's Privacy
Number Ninja is a mixed-audience educational app and uses an age gate to apply child privacy protections. If a player is under 13, we run a child-directed experience intended to align with COPPA, Google Play Families Policy, and App Store Kids Category expectations.
- Under 13: child-directed ad settings are applied and non-personalized ad treatment is used.
- Under 13: analytics collection is disabled.
- 13+: standard ad/analytics behavior is used according to SDK and platform settings.
- We store birth year locally on-device and do not transmit it to our own servers.
Parents/guardians can request deletion of the locally stored birth year and app data by contacting the support channel listed on the store page and/or by clearing app data on the device.
Parents/guardians may also use platform-level controls (including ad personalization and privacy settings) on the device.
9. Your Rights and Choices
- Reset or remove local app data from device settings.
- Limit ad personalization through Android/iOS privacy settings.
- Uninstall the App at any time.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards for the app and service configuration. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
11. International Processing
Third-party providers may process data in multiple countries according to their infrastructure and legal obligations.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy over time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
13. Contact
For privacy questions, contact the developer using the support contact listed on the app store page for Number Ninja.
